The XIII Edition of the Beni Trutmann Photography Contest was held this April, organized by the Cultura area of the Consell Insular of Formentera. The theme of the photo contest is the nature of Formentera in all its angles, including its relationship with mankind.

This year I have been awarded with the third prize in the Color Category with the following photograph. In it we can see a common european shag (Phalacrocorax aristotelis) fishing among the posidonia at sunset.

Ejemplar de cormorán moñudo (Phalacrocorax aristotelis) cazando al anochecer entre los canales de posidonia. ----- European shag ("Phalacrocorax aristotelismo") fishing at dawn among the neptune seagrass.

In addition, another of my photographs has also been selected for the photo exhibition of the contest. The image shows a couple of common shelduck (Tadorna tadorna) at the salinas of Formentera in the dawn mist.

The photo exhibition of this year contest will be open until next May 8 in the Exhibition Hall of the Ajuntament Vell of Formentera, in the morning.
