This year I have been the lucky winner in the Color category of the XVI Edition of the Beni Trutmann Photo Contest organized by the Culture department of the Consell Insular of Formentera. This contest focuses on the nature of Formentera in all its areas: landscape, fauna, vegetation and human interaction with nature.
The winning photograph, titled “Fields of Gold”, shows an image from below of a fig tree in the middle of a crop field at dusk, with the sunrays backlighting the scene.
In addition to the prize-winning photo, another of my photographs has been selected for the Photo Contest Exhibition, which will be open at the Ajuntament Vell Exhibition Hall at Sant Francesc until May 12th from 11 am to 2 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm from Monday to Friday.
